New! Collect Photos and Videos for Instagram with Contributors

Today we’re excited to announce Contributors, a brand new media submissions tool to help streamline your process for collecting photos and videos for Instagram from your photographers, influencers, or other sources!

This continues Later’s commitment to offering a complete solution for all your visual marketing needs, and making every step of your content creation process as easy as possible.

We know how tricky it can be to work with multiple photographers and influencers, especially when you don’t have a centralized place to collect and manage the content you receive.

With our new Contributors feature, you can share a link with your photographers and influencers, who will be able to upload photos and videos directly into a content library for your Instagram.

You can then accept the content you like, and it will go straight into your Later media library to make it easy to schedule out to your social profiles.

Contributors is available now on all Later business plans, starting at $19/month:

An Easier Way to Source Photos and Videos for Instagram

Sourcing high-quality content from photographers and influencers is a great way to grow a devoted community of followers on Instagram – but without a centralized place to collect and manage that content, keeping track of everything can be a big headache!

That’s where Later’s new Contributors feature comes in. Rather than having to search through countless emails for the right thread, or deal with tons of different Dropbox links, with Contributors, you can collect and manage all your content submissions from a single, centralized location.

All you have to do is invite a photographer or influencer to be a contributor to your account, and they can immediately start submitting content to your Later account for you to review.

And once you’ve received a submission from a contributor, you can easily transfer it to your Media Library and then schedule it to one of your social profiles!

Easily Approve or Reject Content Submissions

Later’s Contributors tool also creates an easy way for businesses to approve or reject the content they receive from photographers and influencers.

Once a photographer submits a piece of content to you, it will appear in the Pending tab of your Contributors folder. From there, you can either approve it by adding it to your Media Library, or if you decide that the photo doesn’t match your Instagram aesthetic, you can reject it by selecting it and then clicking the Discard button.

Contributors will receive a notification letting them know the status of their submissions, and you can even add notes to the photos and videos you receive that contributors can view and respond to.

Keep Your Photos and Videos Organized

If your business works with multiple photographers and influencers, keeping track of all the photos and videos you receive (and who sent what) can be super time-consuming.

Later’s Contributors feature solves this problem by offering a simple and effective way to keep track of all your submissions — so you can quickly find the perfect photo or video right when you need it, and easily remember who to give photo credit to.

For example, if you’re running an Instagram marketing campaign that features photos from a specific influencer, all you have to do is open Contributors and search for that influencer by their name or email address to view their submissions. Or if it was a recent submission, you can simply sort by date.

We are excited to bring our Contributors feature to all Later business plans, starting at $19/month. If you’re already on a business plan, you can start adding photographers, team members, or influencers today! Need help getting started with Contributors? Check out our help guide here.
