Now You Can Add Multiple Accounts on Instagram – If You’re Lucky
If you’re using Instagram on iOS, you might have access to one of the most-requested features for Instagram – and not even know it. Some iOS users have reported to Latergramme that they are now able to add multiple Instagram accounts to their Instagram app and quickly switch between them without logging out. This is what the feature looks like on iOS:
The multiple accounts feature is not currently available to all users, but we can speculate that this is either a slow roll-out for all users or Instagram is running another test, this time on iOS. Last November, Instagram made headlines when it began testing the same feature with select members in Instagram’s official beta testing group for Android.
How to Add Multiple Instagram Accounts on iOS
To see if you have access to this feature, navigate to your Instagram profile page and click on “Settings.” Near the bottom, you will have the option to “Add Account.”
After adding an account, you’ll easily be able to switch between multiple Instagram accounts, accessing separate photo feeds, comments, and messages without logging out of the Instagram iOS app. When you receive likes or comments, your push notifications notify you of which account you’re receiving them on.
As anyone who manages more than one Instagram account is aware of, logging in and out of Instagram accounts is a major pain point; not only for posting regularly, but also for keeping up with different communities, commenting on photos, and messaging with users.
For Latergramme users, you’re still able to easily upload photos and videos to Instagram from the web, schedule Instagram posts, and collaborate with team members. But if you’re one of these lucky iOS users, you now have one less step to finish when it’s time to post your photo!
