  • Can I use Later for free?

    Yes, there will always be a Free plan. On a Free plan, you get 1 Social Set, 1 user, and 30 posts per social profile per month. Your 30 posts per month are counted towards your total when they’re scheduled, not when they’re posted, and they reset on the 1st of every month at 12am UTC. Video posts and Instagram carousel posts are not included in the Free plan.

  • What is a Social Set?

    A Social Set is a collection of profiles that includes 1 Instagram, 1 Facebook, 1 Twitter, and 1 Pinterest profile (and a profile for any social networks we add in the future). Social Sets help you organize your social profiles based on brand or identity.

  • Can I automatically publish to Instagram for free?

    Yes! But you need an Instagram business profile. Learn how to set one up here.

    Also, because Later is an Instagram Partner and uses the Instagram Graph API for publishing to Instagram, auto publishing with Later is 100% safe!

  • Can I automatically publish video and carousel posts to Instagram?

    You can publish video posts automatically as of January 2019. Unfortunately, Instagram’s API doesn’t currently support the automatic publishing of Instagram carousel posts. So for now, you'll have to manually publish your carousel posts using our notification method.

  • Can I manage multiple Instagram accounts?

    Yes, you can manage multiple Instagram accounts with Later on any of our paid plans. Each paid plan includes 1 Social Set, but you can add additional Social Sets at an additional cost per Social Set. Free plans are limited to 1 Social Set, and therefore 1 Instagram account.

  • How many posts do I get a month on each plan?

    On our Free plan, you get 30 posts per social profile per month. Our Starter plan includes 60 posts per social profile per month. Our Growth plan includes 150 posts per social profile per month. Finally, our Advanced plan includes an unlimited number of posts.

    Keep in mind that posts are counted towards your total when they’re scheduled, not when they’re posted. And your post count resets on the 1st of every month at 12am UTC. Unused posts do not carry over to the next month.

    If you’re interested in getting more posts per month, you can upgrade your plan or you can join our referral program. For every friend that you refer to Later, you and your friend will receive an additional 10 posts per month forever. Learn more about our referral program here.

  • What are the image size restrictions for the Media Library?

    On a Free plan, you can upload and publish photos up to 5MB. On paid plans, you can upload and publish photos and videos up to 20MB. To find out more about the best image sizes and requirements for Notification and Auto Publish posts, read our help article.

  • How does post count for Instagram Stories work?

    Each storyboard is equal to 1 Instagram post included in your plan. A storyboard consists of a set of individual stories scheduled together for the same time with our Instagram Stories scheduler.

  • What is Linkin.bio?

    Since Instagram only gives you one clickable link, we created a tool called Linkin.bio that makes it easy to shop your Instagram feed. Linkin.bio is a landing page that resembles your Instagram feed and displays your posts as clickable images. Learn more about it here.

  • What’s the difference between Lite and Standard Instagram Analytics?

    With Later’s Lite Instagram Analytics, you can track the performance of your last 10 posts and discover what types of content get the most engagement. Later’s Standard Instagram Analytics gives you a more detailed overview of your account’s performance, including information about your follower growth, audience engagement data, and the number of visits and clicks to your Linkin.bio page.

  • What can you do with Access Groups?

    Later Access Groups help you manage access to your photos, videos, and Instagram accounts within Later. Now you can have multiple media libraries, so you don’t have to share your photos and videos with all your Instagram accounts and team members.

  • Can I manage one Later account with other people?

    Later is perfect for managing social profiles with other people, whether it's having managers approving content, team members publishing posts, or contributors submitting media. Each plan comes with a set number of users. You can add additional users to each paid plan for $5 per additional user. Note : Free plans are limited to 1 user.

  • How does Best Time to Post work?

    Our Best Time to Post feature works by calculating your historical Instagram data to find out when you should schedule your Instagram posts for maximum engagement. If you’re on a paid plan, your best times will be highlighted in your weekly content calendar, making it easy for you to schedule Instagram posts for when your audience is most active.

    Just keep in mind that you must have at least 50 posts in the past 6 months in order for our algorithm to determine your best times. And the more posts you have, the more accurate your best times will be!

  • Plans and Billing

  • Can I switch plans?

    Yes, if you want to upgrade to a higher plan, we’ll calculate the difference and charge you a pro-rated amount for the current billing period. You’ll move to the new plan right after you upgrade. If you’re downgrading to a lower plan, you’ll move to the lower plan at the end of your current billing period.

  • How do the annual plans work?

    When you sign up for any of our paid annual plans, you can save 17% per year compared to our monthly plans. Annual plans are billed yearly as a one-time payment and will automatically renew unless cancelled.

  • What plans include video posting, Instagram carousel posts, and automatic publishing for Instagram?

    All of our plans include Auto Publishing for Instagram. To automatically publish to Instagram, you need an Instagram business profile.

    Our paid plans include video and Instagram carousel posts. However, Instagram carousel posts can’t be automatically published due to limitations from Instagram.

  • What’s your refund policy?

    For annual plans, we consider refunds within the first 30 days of purchase. For monthly plans, we consider refunds within the first 7 days of purchase. Please contact us if you have any questions or need assistance : hello@later.com

  • Do you have any non-profit pricing?
