There are some key features within Later that allow you to share important information with your collaborators when you’re planning posts. This ensures that communication, feedback, and approvals are transparent and visible at all times. Here are the top four features you can use when collaborating with others through Later.
From your Media Library, you have access to Media Notes. You can add these to your images and videos to help you:
- Better prepare your content messaging through captions
- Communicate content guidelines to your teammates
- Remind yourself to give your collaborators credit
This feature provides a space to capture all the essential information for a media item. You can attach a Media Note to any media item at any time. This is a great place to store information your teammates or clients may need if they end up using the content, like context or image credit.
Labels are searchable tags. When you set up labelling standards, your teammates and clients are able to quickly search and find the right media items. You can use these labels as a way to communicate to your teams what content is approved (and ready to publish) and what content is under review.
Calendar Notes provide reminders and handoff information. Pop a Calendar Note in to show someone when your audience is most likely to be online, or when not to schedule. These notes are visible to all users added to your Later account.
To add a Calendar Note, press CTRL and click, or left click on the Calendar.
Contributors is a content collection tool offered by Later. You can use this feature to add collaborators without a Later account or user privileges can send you images and videos by email or the web app.
With Later’s Contributors feature, your creators can focus on the content while you and your team optimize posts for engagement and followers.
