Creating engaging and meaningful content is officially being rewarded financially on the platform.

With an initial investment of $200M, TikTok says they are committed to doling out $1B over the next three years to allow creators to earn a livelihood from the video-sharing app.

And while they've kept their payout structure low-key, the general idea is that eligible creators with high-performing content = $$$.

How Much Does the TikTok Creator Fund Pay?

Now let’s get down to the brass tacks of it all: how exactly is a creator’s funds allocated and how much does the TikTok creator fund pay?

According to TikTok, funds are based on a variety of factors including, “video views, video engagement, as well as ensuring the videos adhere to the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.”

Which means the more engaging the piece of content, the more dollar signs will come your way.

And because the Creator Fund “pot” is always fluctuating — based on the way the platform and your videos perform day after day — the dollar amount varies.

Funds will appear in your creator dashboard three days after your views are accrued. You'll then be able to withdraw payments up to 30 days after your video was posted.

Since its inception, TikTok’s Creator Fund has opened up a world of possibilities for creators looking to monetize their storytelling.

So, as long as you’re producing authentic content that resonates with your community and meets the above criteria — TikTok will have no choice but to accept you into the program.
