How to Schedule TikTok Videos with Later

Scheduling your TikTok videos with Later can be done in five easy steps — you’ll be posting in no time!

Step #1: Add Your TikTok Profile to Your Later Account

Adding your TikTok profile to your Later account is a quick and easy process. 

In Calendar View, add your TikTok Profile by clicking the plus (+) sign at the top of the page:

And voila, you can now schedule your videos!

Step #2: Choose a Video to Post to TikTok

Drag and drop content from your Media Library to your calendar:

TIP: Save time by scheduling to multiple profiles at once with a multi-profile post.

Step #3: Crop and Trim your Video for TikTok

TikTok videos can be up to 60 seconds long, and we recommend an aspect ratio of 9:16 (similar to a mobile phone screen). This way, your TikToks will be optimized for optimal viewing. 

To crop your video size, tap “Edit” and select the TikTok crop. 

To adjust the length of your video, select the “Trim” tool.

NOTE: You’ll still have access to all of TikTok’s cool editing features when it’s time to post!

Step #4: Add a Caption and Hashtags

Write your caption and include strategic hashtags to maximize your post’s reach. 

Hit “Save” and your post will be scheduled for your chosen time.

TIP: Use Later’s Saved Captions feature to save your most-used hashtags so you can quickly add them to your posts.

Step #5: Post Your TikTok

When it’s time to post, you’ll receive a notification through Later’s mobile app. 

Not using the mobile app yet? Download it on iOS or Android to get started.

Next, click the notification to open the Later app. Your TikTok video will automatically save to your camera roll, and the caption will copy to your clipboard.

Open TikTok and follow the steps to post your video in just a few clicks.

TIP: You can plan and schedule your videos directly within Later’s mobile app too (not just via desktop)!

Step #6 (Bonus): Add Links to Your TikTok Bio

When you schedule your videos in advance, you can also leverage Later’s TikTok tool.

With the tool, your TikTok feed will become a clickable, mobile-optimized landing page — allowing you to attach a specific link to each of your scheduled videos.
