Instagram Insights: New and Improved Reels and Live Analytics
As part of the update, Instagram will now display detailed analytics for Reels and Live:
Instagram Reels Analytics
For Reels, users will be able to see new metrics including Plays, Accounts Reached, Likes, Comments, Saves, and Shares.
They will be available in both the Instagram Insights tab and for individual Reels.
Instagram Live Analytics
For Live, users will now be able see the number of Accounts Reached, Peak Concurrent Viewers, Comments, and Shares.
In addition to this valuable extra data, Instagram has updated the Instagram Insights experience.
The new format includes new data breakdowns that provide transparency into which types of accounts you’re reaching, and which content formats are the most effective at driving Reach:
“We know that understanding more about how content is being distributed is important,” Instagram explained.
“We have been inspired by the ways our community has embraced these content formats and want to make sure creators and businesses can understand how their content is performing,” they added.
